First of our 2022 Autumn training events. Not to be missed to sharpen up your race skills.

Margate Yacht Club is thrilled to host KSSA.  We would like to offer all sailors a warm welcome.  MYC cannot wait to see you all on the water soon.  Safe travels.

REGISTRATION: from 09:00

We request children come dressed and ready to sail where possible.  For those of you who are travelling a long way, we will have toilets on site and basic changing areas if required.

BRIEFING: There will be a briefing (rigged and changed) at 10:00.

ARRIVAL: Please drop off your boat behind the RNLI station. This is a right turn after the Turner Gallery. You can park directly next to Margate Yacht Club for £7.50 a day.  Free parking is slightly further down the road behind the Winter Gardens, this can get taken very early so cannot be relied on.

MYC BOATYARD: Meet here to sign in, change clothing if required and for the morning briefing. The boat yard Is situated after the RNLI building just before the carpark. You can’t miss us. Do not drop boats in the boat yard please, There is not enough space for the cars to turn around. Boats can be left at the Boat Drop Off point behind the RNLI building, just before our yard.

CATERING: The follwing lunch options will be available. These will need to be pre-ordered and paid for on arrival:

ENTRY: You must enter and pay for this event online in advance using the WebCollect link below. Entry closes at midnight Wednesday 28th September.

Please note: In the event of cancellation entry fees will be refunded. (Please refer to our refund policy).

KSSA MEMBERSHIP: All sailors need to be a member of KSSA. if this is your first KSSA event of 2022 you will need to join or renew your membership for the year. This costs just £10 for a family (Parents/Guardians, plus any number of sailors aged 18 or under on 31st August in the current year). It enables you to enter KSSA training and racing events this year. As we are now close to the end of the season, new memberships will run right through to the end of 2023. To join, please go to our MEMBERSHIP page and follow the instructions. You can pay online with your event entry.
