Our summer fun training, camp and regatta weekend is back and will be held again this year at Medway Yacht Club. Open to ALL KSSA sailors but also essential preparation for anyone that will be competing as part of the Kent Team at the NSSA Regatta later in July. Please come along even if you’re not going to Plymouth. Enter both days, or just one.

COVID-19 Information: Medway Yacht Club has a full risk assessment and guidance to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 and comply with government guidance. We are hoping that restrictions may have eased further by the event but details will be provided closer to the time.

SATURDAY:

• Coaching for all.
• Late afternoon: Littlefield Memorial Race – this is an all-comers race, open to all youth, coaches, parents and veteran sailors. Sign up on the day with a donation to the Kent Air Ambulance in lieu of entry fee. Click here to download the entry form (only required for non-KSSA entrants or for KSSA entrants where there are changes of boat/rig/helm/crew from the main event entry). Please bring this with you or can be filled in on the day.
• Saturday evening social barbecue and camp.

SUNDAY:

• Mid-Summer Regatta
• 4 races open to all youth members
• First warning signal not before 10:55.

This is a friendly competition open to all our youth sailors. Coaching will be provided for the back-markers.

REGISTRATION: from 09:00 Saturday (and Sunday if you weren’t there Saturday)

BRIEFING: There will be sailor briefings at 10:00 on both days. Please be changed and have boats rigged ready to go.

CATERING: We are expecting the Medway Yacht Club galley to be available and meal packages will be available to pre-order.

ENTRY: You must enter and pay for this event online in advance using the WebCollect link below. Entry closes at midnight Wednesday 23^rd June.

Please note: In the event of cancellation entry fees will be refunded. (Please refer to our refund policy).

KSSA MEMBERSHIP: All sailors need to be a member of KSSA. Please note all 2020 memberships have been extended for 2021 at no additional cost. If you are new to KSSA or a returning former member, you will need to join. This costs just £10 for a family (Parents/Guardians, plus any number of sailors aged 18 or under on 31st August in the current year). It enables you to enter KSSA training and racing events this year. To join, please go to our MEMBERSHIP page and follow the instructions. You can pay online with your event entry.
